El Quipu funcionó como un instrumento de contabilidad y almacenamiento de información durante el Imperio Inca. Se basa en nudos de lana o algodón. El contenido se entendía a través a los diferentes colores, materiales y tipos de nudos.
During the Inca Empire Quipus were used as an accounting and storage tool. They were made with wool or cotton knots. The information was understood because of the amount of knots, wool color and thickness of the materials.
